How About Learning is intended to provide an additional level of academic support to students wishing to receive help with their academics outside of the classroom environment. It represents a supplement to academic support services. The program provides an opportunity to help students achieve their academic learning goals.
A person interested in becoming a How About Learning Tutor must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Have an interest in assisting students with their learning
- A degree in education is preferred, but not required
- Availability to commit to 10 hours of tutoring a week
- Must be willing to complete a background check
A person interested in applying for a tutoring position should send their current resumé/CV and return to the office (1363 Shermer Rd, Suite 228, Northbrook, IL, 60062) or email (email@example.com). After receiving the resumé, all qualified prospects will be contacted to schedule an in-person interview with the How About Learning Center Coordinator.
